Bad day for my mobile life.
I tried to get tickets to Noel Cowards Blythe Spirit (starring Angela Lansbury) for my mother-in-laws 89th birthday. Mobile use great UNTIL I tried to actually see the seats I was willing to pay £100 for. What is this? A .pdf miniature of the theatre layout? I was unable to enlarge it, unable to see my seats. Are you kidding me? Purchase aborted. £300 loss for them.
Next is HSBC. I downloaded their app, and was routed to my phone’s browser to activate the app. At first this portal looked fine: responsive design. But once you log in, it takes you to desktop online banking that has been scrunched onto my mobile screen. As if I could find how to activate the app on that? I ended up waiting until I got home to finish on a laptop.
Why would you design half of an experience? Who is in charge and more to the point WHY? Names! Names! Names! Sweetie I want names!
